- Second Life Avatar name: Sagittar Spengler. Merchant and content creator since Febuary 2006. Owner and operator of Sentinel Hill Enterprises, Second Life. My Second Life experience includes a thorough knowledge of the SL interface, building tools, communications, group creation and maintenance, land purchase and ownership, avatar modifications, Voice and Windlight usage. I have an advanced knowledge of basic scripting, avatar animation, object creation, object texturing, and avatar attachment usage as well as external SL related content and websites. I have owned mainland property for over two years and am thoroughly versed in the role of SL land ownership. I have two properties in SL. One is used as a location for my storefront, Sentinel Hill Enterprises, while the other, Sentinel Hill Studios, is a location established for machinima filming and set construction in world. Machinima creation within Second Life requires a high level of knowledge regarding all of the SL building and modification tools, including avatar animation and modification, world camera manipulation, the building of objects to use as sets and props, the use of scripting, including particle and lighting effects as well as an advanced knowledge of the use of maps and textures.
- I have an extensive inventory of over 18000 items collected during my time in world, including a large collection of scripts, animations, gestures, building components, props, clothing, costumes, avatars, particle effects and sound effects as well as a professional grade texture and object map collection. I am familiar with all aspects of SL resident concerns from the first log on within one of the official Linden Welcome Centers, to the location of learning and tutorial locations, sandboxes and long term landmarks and places of interest including sources of products and services specially designed for use within SL. I am also familiar with the SL TOS and rules concerning avatar behavior and resident responsibilities and restrictions. My time in Second Life has been a substantial educational gain for me with regards to the skills I have obtained in world, all of which can be directly applied to Photoshop, 3ds Max, Avimator and Autocad, among others.
